The replacement hanger looks a little beefier than the original. Not sure if that means it will be sturdier then the original and if that is a good thing for the part that is supposed to fail first before your derailleur explodes. Time will tell. It fits perfectly and shipping was quick with no issues (not through Canada Post).

I was looking for a very specific bolt - M8 x 0.75 - which is pretty rare when looking for bolts in general. Typically these bolts are used for derailleur hangers and older crank arms. SOSHanger.ca had the PERFECT bolt for me - stainless steel and 23mm - which worked flawlessly for a repair to a 1993 Cooks Bros Racing E Crank! The granny ring mounting holes are deep enough for a 23mm long bolt but the typical 17mm chainring bolt doesn't engage enough and tends to strip out if over torqued. Also staff was super helpful and made sure I was properly taken care of. Top notch staff service and speedy delivery all add up to SOSHanger.ca being a top tier crew! Thank you for your help!!!
